Recognizing that our house was considered an historic structure we knew that we would encounter some challenges. Working with you, your staff, and our architect we were able to overcome considerable, and at times unreasonable, zoning and permit demands, never losing sight of the end goal. As you know we considered other builders for our project. After what we went through, you certainly confirmed that our decision to work with you on our construction was a good one. We never felt alone to deal with the bureaucracy.
Even while we had to navigate through the issues above you stayed focused working to make our house a real showplace of the neighborhood. After soliciting competitive bids for the construction of our home from a number of local Ocean City builders we selected Dean Adams. To this day we can say we made the right choice. We cannot imagine others providing the time, energy and conscientiousness of consulting with us throughout the process. You would think Dean was building the house for himself.
The true test of relationship is when events or circumstances do not go according to plan. Regina and Tim Kardish Just one look around the island and that was enough to convince us that there was one and only one builder for our home renovation, Dean A. Adams. We did not even consider another builder because we were so impressed with his custom built homes and beautiful home renovations. After our initial meeting with Dean, that pretty much sealed the deal.
We came to know Dean as a very personable, very knowledgeable, very accommodating and extremely creative individual. His design sense and extraordinary vision are beyond compare. What began as a renovation quickly became a transformation right before our eyes. Dean took a 40 year old home and transformed it into a beautiful new abode both inside and out. Since communication is key with any project, Dean kept us constantly updated on the building progress and always contacted us when an important decision needed to be made.
Adams Contracting is also very particular about its subcontractors. We were amazed at their high quality of workmanship. Dean's regular crew, under the tutelage of Zach Mayfield, Adams Contracting's Project Manager, are highly skilled craftsman. Their workmanship is also quite impressive with precision and attention to detail being paramount. They truly took pride in their work and there was never a time that we worried about the security of our home because they are also very honest and trustworthy.
Command Central, a.k.a. Kelley, Margann and Diego, Adams Contracting office staff, are the heart of the organization. They too were always very accommodating and always made you feel welcome. It was such a pleasure working with them and their contribution to the company is invaluable.
I might add that there is a level of stress with any renovation but Dean had a way of minimize the stress, in fact, he always made it go away. His ultimate goal is to make his clients happy, something he always did with us and with a smile on his face.

Just wanted to send a note of thanks for the wonderful experience we had in purchasing our beautiful new home at the shore. This was an important decision in our lives which was made so much easier with the support of you and your company.
During the initial purchase of the house, you took time out of your busy day to personally walk through the house inspection with us. You kept track of the minor issues that we discussed that day and summarized it up in a follow-up letter. We also asked for some additional modification requests and customizations to be done. You and your staff were able to have everything done by settlement.
Even after the settlement, if we had any questions or minor problems, within a day, someone from your company responded or was sent over to the house to resolve the issue.
We have lived in this house for 10 months and have had no problems. The house is equipped with high efficiency heating and air conditioning units that save us high electric costs and they maintain comfortable room temperatures. The equally efficient windows used in the construction also cut down on the outside elements of noise, glare and heat exchange. Internally, the house is extremely well-built with no structural issues.
We can honestly say that Dean Adams builds a house that is professionally constructed, functional, beautiful and has the latest amenities.

Our experience with Dean Adams Custom Builders
could not have been better.
Dean was the General Contractor for a 3 story
mixed use building I had developed in Ocean City, New Jersey.
During the process, he was very accessible, efficient with
scheduling, and timely with completion. Dean was true to his
word about specific dates, and upfront about potential
obstacles. The project was completed in 2003 with great success!
Furthermore, the building to this day has not had a single
interior or exterior problem. Since the completion of that
project, I have been affiliated with Dean and his company in
other ventures, and plan on keeping our business relationship
strong in the future. Recently we hired Dean Adams Custom Builder to construct a rather substantial single family home in the “Gardens” section of Ocean City.
