Just one look around the island and that was enough to convince us that there was one and only one builder for our home renovation, Dean A. Adams. We did not even consider another builder because we were so impressed with his custom built homes and beautiful home renovations. After our initial meeting with Dean, that pretty much sealed the deal.

We came to know Dean as a very personable, very knowledgeable, very accommodating and extremely creative individual. His design sense and extraordinary vision are beyond compare. What began as a renovation quickly became a transformation right before our eyes. Dean took a 40 year old home and transformed it into a beautiful new abode both inside and out. Since communication is key with any project, Dean kept us constantly updated on the building progress and always contacted us when an important decision needed to be made.

Adams Contracting is also very particular about its subcontractors. We were amazed at their high quality of workmanship. Dean's regular crew, under the tutelage of Zach Mayfield, Adams Contracting's Project Manager, are highly skilled craftsman. Their workmanship is also quite impressive with precision and attention to detail being paramount. They truly took pride in their work and there was never a time that we worried about the security of our home because they are also very honest and trustworthy.

Command Central, a.k.a. Kelley, Margann and Diego, Adams Contracting office staff, are the heart of the organization. They too were always very accommodating and always made you feel welcome. It was such a pleasure working with them and their contribution to the company is invaluable.

I might add that there is a level of stress with any renovation but Dean had a way of minimize the stress, in fact, he always made it go away. His ultimate goal is to make his clients happy, something he always did with us and with a smile on his face.

We wanted to take a moment and compliment you on the project at 605 Wesley Avenue in
Ocean City, NJ. We acquired this property with the intention of having it renovated, and we were very pleased with the end results of the property. It is really astonishing to see the changes from the start to the finish.

Overall we were very impressed with the project management and communication. In any
project of this magnitude, communication and timeliness are critical, only trumped by quality of work of course. You exceeded our expectations for all aspects of the project. You worked very well with the historical society, and with the town to ensure we were meeting all requirements.

The real reward is enjoying the property with our family and friends. We contracted in late January for the renovation of this property, and we knew you had a full schedule. We did not
expect to utilize the property until August or even until the following season.

We would like to express our appreciation for your communication and follow up, and
reasonable solutions for when we encountered the "UNEXPTECTED." When you take on the
major rehabilitation of a property that is over 100 years old, you are guaranteed to find things that were not reasonably anticipated. This can quickly destroy a budget. You were reasonable, and provided potential solutions that were always cost effective, while not sacrificing quality.

We were thrilled that we were able to start using the property and able to have a party for our friends and family for the fourth of July!

My husband and I first met Dean several years ago when a friend recommended him for some work that we needed done on our condo in Ocean City. Dean did work for us several times and we were always very pleased. When we told Dean we were interested in buying a single home in Ocean City he personally showed us some of the houses he was in the process of constructing. Dear Dean,

Just wanted to send a note of thanks for the wonderful experience we had in purchasing our beautiful new home at the shore. This was an important decision in our lives which was made so much easier with the support of you and your company.

During the initial purchase of the house, you took time out of your busy day to personally walk through the house inspection with us. You kept track of the minor issues that we discussed that day and summarized it up in a follow-up letter. We also asked for some additional modification requests and customizations to be done. You and your staff were able to have everything done by settlement.

Even after the settlement, if we had any questions or minor problems, within a day, someone from your company responded or was sent over to the house to resolve the issue.

We have lived in this house for 10 months and have had no problems. The house is equipped with high efficiency heating and air conditioning units that save us high electric costs and they maintain comfortable room temperatures. The equally efficient windows used in the construction also cut down on the outside elements of noise, glare and heat exchange. Internally, the house is extremely well-built with no structural issues.

We can honestly say that Dean Adams builds a house that is professionally constructed, functional, beautiful and has the latest amenities.
